chrisandelana
When was the last time you cleaned the pump ? Both my tanks have been hovering around the 30 degree mark for the last couple of days too. This is due to room temperature from the hot days that we have been experiencing. I find that most of the additional heat my tanks pick up is through the lighting and not my pumps. Chris.
Chuckmeister
Maximising air flow over the top of the surface area helps alot. On really hot days, I like to put a small fan blowing water over the tanks. Also, like has been suggested, have you cleaned the sponge in the pump. A clean pump means that they work far less and generate less heat. Chuck
