TALLNEV
A while ago my 6ft tank front pane gave way leaking water everywhere. My question is should I get someone to reseal it or should I buy a new one. The tank is about 7 years old. Glass has very little scratches. Thanks in advance for any info. Burek
hi i think you should reseal it, if it isint all that bad. Dont have to waste alot of money on buying a new one. Just silicon around the WHOLE tank just to make sure it wont happen anywhere else! HTH - Daniel
Matthew
G'day It depends on what the tank is used for. If it is a display tank I would purchase another tank. If it is in a spot like on a timber floor where it must never leak I would purchase another tank. But if it is a breeding tank I would repair it myself.
