Cichlabxr
Could anyone offer a reason as to why this happens. Also I have now hospitalised the fish and was after suggestions for treatment for regrowth. Besides stress free environment and correct water parameters, which it hopefully now has. anchar
Hi Martin, If the water parameters are fine then possibly it is a dietary problem. What food does the fighter get? merjo
Cichlabxr
Hi merjo, Just lately Tetrabits and Wardleys Cichlid Pellets. Thanks merjo should have thought more about his diet. I am in the process of hatching some brine shrimp for some baby L. trewavasae and have set up a mossie larvae trap. So he'll be getting some of them in 24 hours. anchar
Hi Martin, Usually split tails are caused from aggression (do you have a mirror-backed tank?) or poor water quality. Maybe with some brine/blood worm etc. it will repair quite quickly...just a thought. merjo
