Phenomena
Hi all, What makes a good quality calvus in terms of their pearls/spots? Does it have to be neat like these ones: http://www.ultimatefish.com/images/img0039/dscn1227.jpg http://www.ultimatefish.com/DSCN0915.JPG http://www.boksova.cz/INDEX_SOUBORY/Pages/...velke/281-3.gif or can be irregular? http://www.neptuneaquatics.com/images/Alto...us%20Inkfin.jpg http://www.cichlidz.com/pics/calvus1.jpg http://www.qcichlid.org/Altolamprologus_calvus.jpg Thanks, DD
YeW
Pheno - I dont think the eveness of the spots is overly important.... the shape of the fish certainly is. I ought to be careful here - I've been jumped on for my opinions on Altolamps before LOL! Spotting per se, however, is important as is colour and contrast.
