Matty
I think it may have been eaten. I reckon the clown loaches got to it. It was only about 35-40mm
Ash
I have a dried out gibby carcass (approx 15-17cm) except it's a complete skeleton. my RD bullied him & apparently knocked a rock onto him crushing him I also have red's other victims, his GF & a blackbelt, and the juvie female jag I lost all dried out in the top of the compost bin. sad reminders. Dark Morelia
Interesting, and saddening Does anyone know if the skull's broken, or do they normally look like that ? I've had a bit of a search and can't find any pics of pleco skulls. Reason i ask is when a 25-30cm Gold pleco i had died, i left it out to get the skull, and it turned out like that, and i thought it was just broken, now i'm not so sure... mezzacam
Mmmm.... When one of my small clown loaches died (God bless it's soul) I put it outside, and let the ants have their way with it. Went out and looked at it the next day, and i had a perfect skeleton... Quite fascinating to look at. May sound a bit cruel or weird, But certainly interesting to look at. ....
