edas
Hi All I would be interested to hear what colour background / paint works best for tropheus tanks in order to highlight their colours. I have noticed quite a few people using a light blue colour. By the way, my name is Nick and I am in the process of setting up a tropheus tank....all those tropheus posts sucked me in! anchar
Hi Nick, I used a green colour because it blended with the rock algae. I don't know how it will play against the adult colour of my Tropheus because they are still youngsters. Andrea
Ben
I use a green and blue blend. I think it works in well with the algae growth in the tanks also.
parrdog
I use a blue colour. I like the look of those fake rock backgrounds the best. Craig Thompson just completed his new T tank with one. There is a thread of it in Cichlid Discussion. Good to see you've taken the plunge into Tropheus. Any questions, make sure you fire away and good luck. Jamie.
