catfishLegacy
Looking for a versitile internal power filter. Want to use it as a biological filter that also provides a bit of current...so something similar to a pond filter that you can screw on the attachment and fit a large sponge block??? If anyone knows of something like that? Thanks Also does anyone know if an AC200 or AC300 are small enough to fit between the crossbar and tank side on a standard 3fter? wormboy
I went with the Mozoo 1800L/h internal power filter as it has a relatively large sponge compared to the rest, it was quiet (and still is 1 year later) and importantly cheap. If you want to go pond style filter with an external sponge check out the Hydor range. Reliable, strong and small size per output.
Bijengum
The best internals I've used are the Otto ones. Available from AOA one of the sponsors.
GTR73
Likewise, you can't past Otto's and I rate 'em highly. Nice and quiet, very reliable (mine been going for over 2 years no problems), and you can add extra cup attachments with whatever you want, so can fill one with ceramic noodles for your bio filtering. (AOA also cheapest for them that I've seen anywhere)
