mr troph
Hi all after browsing the underwater garden section I have become keen to create my own dutch aquarium. It been years since I've keeped plants in any of my tanks as they don't fare well with Tropheus and hard alkaline water. I have a standard 3ft to house the plants, a pair of discus and a school of tetra. For filtration I have a spare 1200 cannister. Would this be ok or overkill for a tank this small?. What plants thive in warm, soft and acidic water? What lighting would you recommend? substrate? fertilizer? Co2 unit? I don't have a massive budget for this tank actually i'm looking at doing it on the cheap. Any advise much apreceated Thanks Todd
