trofius
Utinta, malasa, isanga are often all refered to as malasa, it is wrong..... as menbtioned they are all different neighbouring localities in the south east of the lake, malasa varient occupys nearly a 200km area malasa will have a solid colour in their dorsal fin, isanga have a much darker base to their dorsal fin yellow or blue fin fish, a bit like you get blondes and brunettes as i see it, my malasas throw both. efc01
This discussion has been made regarding frontosa aswell Moba and Kapampa. Yes they are both frontosa, yes they live and probably co-exist but as a responsable hobbiest do you cross-breed them....well its up to you i guess. Im not saying that it is illegal or anything guys im just saying you might want to keep your bloodlines pure.
Bruce
Yeah, I get what you mean. I'm not gonna risk the cross breeding. Bruce
ndoboi
As for the yellow tails, all leptos should have a yellow tail This statement is incorrect as both yellow and blue tail variants exist in the lake. Cheers Steve
Bruce
The all blue version is known more commonly as the Blue Flash. Bruce
