Josh
I just did a search through the classifieds section and the price is about mid range of what is/was available there. Are they being sold in a shop or private?
jeppry
hey cheers for the reply, they are from a LFS that i sell fry to regularly so i did do a bit of bartering to get them down from $45 ea
fongyfong
hey cheers for the reply, they are from a LFS that i sell fry to regularly so i did do a bit of bartering to get them down from $45 ea if you were in sydney LAcichlid was selling black calvus for 10 bucks but 30 bucks from a LFS sounds reasonable, as they are usually around 45-60 range

Link2Hell
Good that your happy with them did you get a mix of small and large fish ? as they will most likely be from the same spawn and the smaller ones normally are the females Chris
jeppry
hey Chris, i got the largest 2 which seemed to be the bosses of the tank and the other 4 where the smallest less aggressive. Brett

SAMMYBOY
If i was you i would try and split them into two tanks one lrg male in each tank and try and get both tanks breeding as calvus dont need big tanks to breed or even put a divider in that way half as many water changes...? ust a thought
jeppry
sounds like a good thought SAMMYBOY as the males are having regular punch ons...
