robdog013
two of my dominant males in my tank have these black marks the one in the photo is on the gill plate and the other on the top of its head, is this a bruise? perhaps from the lava rock, these two fish are always fighting eachother. The fish in my tank tend to flash.. has anyone seen this type of thing before?
noxious_nasties
Aggression seems the go... both males definately supports the case. Flashing is generally followed by jaw locking and bites with large cobalts. John
Foti
i would suggest to check your amonia levels as this could be signs of amonia burn your fish look quit healthy and in colourful so it could of just been a spike in amonia at one point or another doesnt look like fighting
