moez Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 hey guys. im thinking of buying a pair of american cichlids and i allready have my tank setup with coral sand. would the pair be able to breed in such a setup, or should i remove the coral and replace it with gravul. If it's Central Americans, then you should be able to get away with it, however if it were me, I would replace it with either gravel or river sand, purely for aesthetic reasons.
