brucem
Hey all, I've got a trio of calvus. One of the females has a abnormally swollen stomach, and there appears to be the start of a small hole appearing. Any ideas what it could be and how to treat it?Bruce
GRK-351
Hey bruce, I have just lost about 4-5 demasoni over the past week with the same symptoms apart from the hole, just really swollen bellies. I've just done a big water change and the rest of the colony seems to be looking ok, fingers crossed! The weird thing is there is 2 females holding while this has been going on.Sorry I can't help out with a diagnosis or treatment but I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks. andrew.vid
i have had a few fish that had holes forming on them, so i went to my LFS and they gave me an antibiotic called triple sulfa broad spectrum, they are tablets, after about a week it was all healed up and back to normal, so you could give it a try...
