Alba71
Hello everyone. I’ve just set up a new 300 l tank with an Aquavivo Plantpro LED light. My question is , can I install the lights as low as the bracket will let me. Which is about 2cm above the glass. It can be adjusted right up to about 8 inches above. I want to keep the light system low as not to be blinded by the lights when I’m sitting down in my living room. Many thanks
Skippy
As long as you have lids and the light won't get in the way when you are doing maintenance or accessing the tank I don't see a problem. LED lights don't produce as much heat as other light types but monitor if the glass lids/braces are getting too hot and adjust the height accordingly. fishdance
Or add a 10cm wooden border around the top of tank without a lid.
